Collision between cruise ships at Elba Island, Italy

Fear at Elba Island, Italy, for a collision between two cruise ships in harbor, due to a handling error during mooring operations . The crash caused no injuries but only minor damage to the hull . The incident occurred around 13 . According to what has been learned the ship FTI Berlin, Maltese flag, 140 meters long and coming from the Aeolian Islands , during the approach maneuver to dock assisted by the pilot ,hit another cruise ship already moored in the harbor for hours. Probably the accident was also caused by strong gusts of winds that raged in the harbor. After the collision the Maltese ship was assisted by two tugs and moored at the quay . On board there were a few moments of panic, but managed without problems by the crew in collaboration with the Coast Guard.
